“I am not alone in believing that every child deserves to grow up in a safe and nurturing home, yet I was increasingly dismayed by stories of children suffering from broken homes. I wanted to do something to help the most vulnerable children in our own communities. As a CASA volunteer, I am empowered to advocate for these children to help ensure that they are placed in an environment where they will be loved and protected and where they can thrive. CASA allows me to be a small but important part of a national effort that aims to make a positive and lasting difference in lives of children.”
